We figured out why I'm drawing Mickey Mouse all the time. Yes, I went to Walt Disney World twice with my family when I was younger but also around the age of 8 or so I received a mirror for Christmas with the image of Mickey Mouse printed on it. Think of that for a moment. Most of us look in the mirror at least a couple times a day. So I was young and looking at the image of myself and Mickey Mouse smiling back at me.

This is a great positive image and might be why I'm happy most of the time. This might have been how Walt Disney felt after he drew Mickey Mouse for the first time. This little mouse smiling back at him after he lost the rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. So happy Disney was able to buy him back a few years ago.
