My honest review of Indiana Jones 5 and the Dial of Destiny. Everything that Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull didn’t do, The Dial of Destiny did. This movie got rid of the bad taste everyone had from Indiana Jones 4 and made you fall in love with a great story once again. Now I don’t wanna say this movie is perfect by any means but I will say it did not drag like Indiana Jones 4 did. It is non stop action from the beginning. The cgi of Harrison Ford de aging looks good, not great but good. I can always tell what has been cgi’d. This is me being picky as it’s always in the teeth and the talking that gives it away to me. Rest assured they only use this very sparingly in the beginning and I believe there was a flash back briefly in the movie to this technology. Would I watch this Indy over and over again? Yes. Is it the best Indiana Jones, no but it’s definitely better than the Crystal Skull. The runtime of 2 and a half hours makes me want another 30 minutes or even an hour of this film. I do have chills writing this review because the movie is so good. Go see it soon so you feel good about Indiana Jones once again. I’m ready for Indiana Jones 6 and think they will do another one in the next few years as Harrison Ford is 80 but when you keep creating and doing, it keeps you young. Yes, Harrison Ford looks amazing for his age. I wish this film was made about 10 years ago so we would def get another Indiana Jones before Harrison Ford retires. Anyways, I’m rambling. Go see the film this weekend as you will believe in a great story once again. Long live Indiana Jones. This film belongs in a museum as it’s a masterpiece. However, I don’t believe I saw any 🐍 in this one. Check out my tiktok by clicking the link below to see more videos about Indiana Jones 5.
